Silo
Ten thousand people live in a vast underground silo, told the world above is lethal and forbidden to ask why.
Selected for its production design and its patient interest in how a closed society manages what it remembers.
Generations have lived inside a silo sunk a hundred and forty-four levels into the earth, governed by a Pact and a single rule: never express a wish to go outside. When the sheriff makes that wish, an engineer from the lowest levels, Juliette Nichols, is drawn upward into the silo's politics and its missing history. Graham Yost adapts Hugh Howey's novels with careful production design and an unhurried sense of procedure. The mystery is real, but the series is most interested in how institutions manage what people are allowed to know.

A more demanding continuation
A deliberate step up in what the film asks: slower, more severe, and unwilling to meet you halfway.
